David Franke said there will be a new third jersey this season, and it will be a home jersey which will debut on opening night. They are going to wear last year's black, red and white jerseys on the road mostly, and the new jersey will split time with the traditional home white jersey.

I don't know if I've talked to anybody all summer who was more fired up about coming to Fort Wayne than Olivier Legaut, and that's saying something considering how excited Mathieu Curadeau and Craig Cescon were.

``Once you've played in Fort Wayne, you always want to play there,'' Legault said. ``I'm so excited, I've got goose bumps sitting here thinking about what opening night is going to be like. It's going to be like my first pro game all over again.''

The Komets announced Wednesday that Olivier Legault has been added to the 2010-11 preseason roster.

Legault, 23, will be entering his fourth pro season after appearing in 16 regular season games with Kalamazoo of the ECHL last season (0 pts, 55 pim).

He played 461 games as a Komet and ranks sixth in career points. I'd say it's possible he's the best all-around forward the Komets have
