Here's the first goal from Jamie Milam after he picked up a rebound. Mike Vaskivuo just scored on a rebound, and then Colin Chaulk seconds later. Missouri just called time out. Shots are 23-12 Komets, and the Mavericks have not gotten many chances.
I almost have a sense that many fans were more confident in the Komets heading to Missouri than they are now with the next two games at home. Am I wrong? What do you think?
That cut it to 3-2, and gave the Komets a chance at a comeback, but then Jamie Lovell left Sebastien Thinel all alone in the slot for an easy wrist shot goal. It's 4-2 and Chaulk just took a second penalty so Missouri is going on the power play.
The Komets just didn't show up defensively and it could be 5-1 instead of 3-1.
Here's the first Missouri goal after Nick played the puck poorly and Dickson beat him back to the post.
Komets rallied after Nick made two great saves and the puck squirted free to JM Rizk who scored on a backhand.
