``Will we play down to their standard or will we bring our A game.''
They came in today so he'll be trying to break them in as quickly as possible. In fact, he's planning on wearing them in Friday's game.
Henley wears a custom-made skate that has four unique areas of extra support. The Komets ordered the wrong pair first, sent them back and then had to order the new pair direct from the skate factory.
Have to wear a special jersey to the games? Let your hair grow as long as a winning streak is going?
Anything from real life you do?
My biggest one is I have a little glass cross that I always put in my pocket before I put anything else in my pockets, wallet, cell phone, whatever. I know, dull, but that's mine. Of course, I don't get emotionally involved watching sports any more, even the Bears.
Evansville lost in a shootout to Missouri tonight to tie the Komets for first place in the Turner Conference, and Allen beat Arizona to leapfrog the Komets and Wichita for first place overall.
Leo Thomas has been placed on leave by the team so he can go home to Toronto and handle a family situation.
Dustin Molle skated today but is a long way from being ready to go and will not be making the trip to Arizona.

Down on the left side under the recent comments, there's a listing of pages which includes a Komets' links section where you can find all the videos, posters and other links that we had on the old site. Some of those videos can really spark a memory or two.
If you go to the very bottom of the page, you can find all the old archives, 189 pages worth.

Fort Wayne may struggle to hold onto both the conference and overall CHL co-lead over the next couple of weeks because the Komets play only two games this week, both at Arizona, and two games the following week, at Quad City on Feb. 3 and hosting Dayton on Feb. 4. The IceMen play four games this week and six over the two weeks, including four at home. Wichita also plays four games this week, including three at home.
Stephon Thorne, J.M. Rizk, Brent Henley and Chris Auger scored for Fort Wayne which is 12-6-1 on the road now. Nick Boucher made 32 saves.
Wichita and Evansville are also playing right now. More later.
You can read Sunday's story here. Al Sims calls out some of his better players.
And how about this save?
