Roster moves coming

Talked to David Franke today and he said the Komets will activate David Starenky before Friday's game in Rapid City, which means someone else has to go on IR. Two thoughts on this: They better activate Starenky considering how well he played in RC the last time. The second thought is that right now the Komets aren't looking to make any major additions/subtractions to the roster. They love the group they have, and the chemistry in the locker room is exceptional at this time.

Not too happy in the locker room

The Komets were happy that they won Thursday's game 3-1 over Bloomington, but they also realize the Blaze are on a 10-game winless streak. The Komets didn't play their best and it almost cost them.

``We didn't play our best game tonight,'' coach Al Sims said. ``Obviously, the first period we had a lot of shots, and a lot of quality chances that we gave up shooting to pass the puck. That was the theme all night, we didn't want to shoot the puck.
