It's 2-2 after two periods as David Hukalo and Matt Syroczynski
IceHawks scored with 3.2 left when Derek Patrosso spun from the goalline near the boards and fired the puck on the Fort Wayne net. Guy Dupuis was skating by the Komets' goal to cover his man and ended up screening Nick Boucher who got beat short-side.
Shots are 16-10 IceHawks, but the Komets have had their chances.

The Ryans welcomed Jake Austin Ryan to the world at 9 a.m.
There are some similarities, including the same schedule. The IceHawks have equaled their total of 13 goals through the first four games, dominating in special teams (Komets 1-18 and IceHawks 5-19 through 4 games in 2008), and they won Game 2 at home in overtime.
Larry Sterling got hit behind the net when the Komets' Colin Chaulk and Port Huron's Paul Cianfrini collided. Sterling's leg got clipped and he hit his head on the ice. Rookie Raffaele D'Orso has gone in net for the IceHawks. Referee Bob Langdon ruled it incidental contact. Both Chaulk and Cianfrini's sticks appeared to clip Sterling's leg. He went to the bench for a few seconds and then went to the locker room.

I saw Hodgman slash Bedard and thought at the time it might be good for two games. Asked about it today, Hodgman said it was just, ``Frustration,'' and there was nothing previous that led to the slash.
David Hukalo moves up with Colin Chaulk and Matt Syroczynski and Mitch Woods goes with Justin Chwedoruk and Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock. Keith Rodger will also play as Brad MacMillan had his nose fixed this morning and will likely miss the next two games.
Fort Wayne forward Justin Hodgman has been issued a two (2) game suspension for his actions during IHL Playoff Game B-3, Port Huron @ Fort Wayne, on Sunday, April 25th. The suspension is being issued under Rule 29 (Supplementary Discipline) as a result of a slash at the end of the game. Hodgman will be ineligible to participate in the following playoff contests:
