Glenn Beck asked Penn Gillette, one of my favorite libertarians, to come up with a list of moral dictates for non-believers. The result is this, 10 Commandments for Atheists. The whole list is pretty good. I especially like No. 5
5. Be there for your family. Love your parents, your partner, and your children. (Love is deeper than honor, and parents matter, but so do spouse and children.)

Encouraging news, 2nd Amendment fans:

When Gallup first asked Americans this question in 1959, 60% favored banning handguns. But since 1975, the majority of Americans have opposed such a measure, with opposition around 70% in recent years.
