The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, have announced that five time championship coach and NHL veteran, Al Sims has been named the team’s new Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations. Sims replaces Dwight Mullins who posted a record of 9-16-2-2 through the first twenty-nine games of the 2014-15 ECHL season.
Defenseman Joey Leach has been called up to Lake Erie of the AHL. The Komets have activated Ian Barteaux off reserve to take his spot in the lineup. It will be interesting to see what Gary Graham does with his pairings. Leach has been playing with Drew Daniels.
The Walleye are asking all fans to get there by 4 p.m. so they can get things going on time.
Might want to consider taking a little extra time. With the Rumble in the Expo Hall, the parking lot might be a little busier than usual.
