Tailing the Komets

No further discipline for Auger

For his abuse of officials game misconduct from Game 2. During the playoffs, there's a an accumulation system for abuse of officials penalties. A second such penalty would be an automatic one-game suspension and possibly more if the league decides it warrents more.

How many of you believe?

Can the Komets come back this time?

The disputed last Komets' goal

Komets are in trouble

This is Missouri's first goal and the Mavericks lead 2-0 after the first period. The Komets out-chances Missouri 10-6 in the first period, but goalie Charlie Effinger made 16 saves and his defense blocked nine Komets shots.

The Komets also missed some great chances like this one from Mike Vaskivuo which missed high. Nick Boucher has been pulled for Gerry Festa.

Tonight's referee is...

Not Zak Blazic, but Mark-Andre Lavoie whojust called Game 6 in Rapid City.

It's still 2-1 Komets halfway through the third and the Mavericks don't have a shot on goal yet.

It's 2-1 Komets late second

Colin Chaulk set up Mike Vaskivuo for the leading goal. Then Missouri got a couple of power plays, including this one when Brent Henley was called for interference.

It's 1-1 early

Missouri's Andrew Courtney scored this goal and then Tom Mele scored for the Komets.

Smith: ``I'm playing''

``Nothing is going to stop me from playing tonight.''

Your referee tonight...

is Zak Blazic

So which style of calls to do they get, Game 1 from the Rapid City series, or Game 2? My guess is more Game 2 which was a very good game.
