Tailing the Komets

1-2-3

Everybody vent!

I'm dead serious about this, everybody get it all out right here and you'll feel better. Why should the rest of the week go this way when you can get at least part of it out of your system right here and now? C'mon, you'll all feel better, and the weather is going to be gorgeous. No profanity or personal attacks, of course.

Then I want to see one thing from each of you that you think will happen during Wednesday's game.

Prayer request

Heather Sosenheimer (The Boys' Mom on the blog and wife of blogger Harley) slipped on a puddle going into the coliseum Sunday and and cracked her heard and injured her back. She's still in the hospital undergoing tests so please remember her in your prayers today. And the poor soul who has to somehow keep track of those three boys! This is a lot more important than any hockey game.

Komets up 2-0 after 1

Justin Hodgman scored his third goal of the series, and Guy Dupuis snuck in a seeing-eye slapshot along the ice between Larry Sterling and the post. Very physical game, and referee Craig Welker is letting them play.

Playoff bus trip!

Dennis Schebig is doing it again, this time for Game 6 on Saturday, May 1 in Port Huron -- if necessary. $40 includes bus and ticket to the game. Bus will be leaving Komet Kuarters at 1:30 p.m. and stopping for dinner along the way. There needs to be at least 55 people sign up at Komet Kuarters. Any questions? Call Dennis at 471-3227 during the day or evenings at 749-2022. If there's no Game 6, the money will be refunded.

Scoreboard problems

The side of the scoreboard facing the West side of the building, or the Port Huron bench, has a huge white area in the middle of it obliterating the time and penalty numbers. I was told it became a problem during Friday's concert and the building has been working on it for quite a while to try to fix, but it will not be fixed for tonight's game. Everyone is scrambling.
