Franke: changes coming

Komets general manager David Franke made the trip this weekend to Missouri and Wichita.

``If we need to make changes, we're going to make changes,'' Franke said. ``I'm sure there will be changes made. If that means we have to change some faces, which will happen almost assuredly, that's what we'll do. We can't continue to go along the way we are now. We don't have everybody on board for one reason or another.''

Komets lose 5-1

I don't have a lot for you tonight because I'm on HS basketball and I didn't get to listen or see the game. Doesn't sound like missed much. Here's a couple notes I noticed in th box score:

For the second game in a row, veteran winger P.C. Drouin was held without a shot on goal, joined by fellow forwrads Sean O'Connor, Brandon Naurato and Kaleigh Schrock in getting held off the shot chart. The Fort Wayne defensemen had 13 shots on goal and the forwards only 12.
