Observations

Did anybody think Matt Syroczynski might get to 25 goals when he played most of the first 35 in the AHL? ... Glad to see Guy Dupuis and Danko Mironovic back together as a pair since that's the Komets' best chance in the playoffs against the other teams' big lines... Great to see Kevin Hansen return to the Port Huron lineup after missing half a season with a broken back... Mitch Woods said he'll be ready to play Wednesday or Friday... Heading into this game, the Komets were 3-3-1 over their last seven games...

Not exactly sure how old the Komets' trainer is, but I'm guessing by this time of the year he feels much, much older. LOL.

Mac's message to Hit Somebody

``My dad reads that and then calls me. You write on there that it's a separated shoulder and not a broken collarbone. All right?''

Gulp!

Actually, Mac looked really good at practice today, too. He'll be 100 percent for the playoffs.
