Eighth year of campaign starts Saturday
Komets are expecting Pat Nagle to be back for the weekend.
Might be getting some players back from Lake Erie for the weekend as well.
Paul Crowder will not play this weekend, but maybe next week.

Don’t tell the Kalamazoo Wings it’s too cold to go to the beach. The K-Wings, who will return home for two games this weekend, will be celebrating summer fun during both games.
Gary Graham said there's no timeline at present for their return, and the Komets are starting to work on replacements. I think Paul Crowder is eligible to come off IR this weekend.
The Fort Wayne Freeze police hockey team have a game this Saturday, December 20th, to raise money for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. The game is at 3pm in the Coliseum arena. The team will be taking donations, selling raffle tickets for prizes to be given aware later at the Komets game, and also selling tickets to the Komets game for that night. To coincide with the Fort Wayne Komets military night, and to pay tribute to Honor Flight, the Freeze will be sporting new military jerseys. The Freeze will be playing the FBI Chicago Hockey Club for the first time.
The original shot was blocked by Komets defenseman James Martin, popping the puck into the air.
Then Toledo's Shane Berschbach knocked it down.
Komets defenseman Cody Sol tried to knock Berschbach off the play.
Garrett Meurs just scored from long range after C.J. Severyn scored this goal in the first period.
Mike Embach is back from taking care of some personal business
Will Lacasse is going to play today in place of Matt Krug who got banged up last night in Evansville.
Brett Perlini is going to wear No. 7 today with the new uniforms because they didn't have a No. 10.
