Franke: P.C. had a great career with us

Komets General Manager David Franke said, ``P.C. has had a heck of acareer with us. He's had a great hockey career.

``I think it's just a time we've started the process of rebuilding the club, getting new faces, getting some younger people in. We have to start developing players that will want to play for the Komets for 3-4-5-6 years just like he did. We need to start looking in that direction.''

Coming Friday

Instead of a traditional season preview, we tried something remarkably different this year. All I can tell you about it is there is a centerfold. No, it's not me, either. (Who would pay for that?)

We basically tried answering the question, ``Why are the Komets so important to Fort Wayne?''

And, yes, there really is a centerfold. Would I lie to you?

Anyway, there will be a lot of cool things in the special section and some more things on-line. Please consider picking up a copy or two of the paper that day.
