USA-Canada predictions

Put 'em here.

I was big into Canada before I watched the last 10 minutes of tonight's game against Slovakia. Now I think the US will win 4-2 with a P.C. Drouin insurance goal.

Sims: We need to come out flying

Brad MacMillan scored by firing the puck from the goal line off the back of the Dayton goaltender and in, and then Colin Chaulk scored the game-winning goal by bouncing one off the goaltender's side and in as the Komets beat Dayton 4-2.

The win moves the Komets within two points of Port Huron for second place after the IceHawks lost at home against Quad City. The Komets have still played three fewer games than Port Huron and can tie the IceHawks for first place with a win at home tonight against Flint which lost at home Friday night to Bloomington.

Finlan has no D

Finland gave up before that game ever started. Their defensive zone coverage was awful, so how in the world did they get this far? A buddy and I were watching the game and we were counting which Finland guys were doing NOTHING in the defensve zone. No. 18, you should be ashamed. (Now that, Alan, was a spanking! LOL)

Also couldn't believe how slow Finland was all over the ice. Nobody moved to the puck, they all waited for it to come to them. Did they stay up partying last night? Teemu Selanne where have your legs gone?
