They came back from a 3-1 third-period deficit but couldn't crack Bloomington goaltender Jason Wolfe in the shootout, getting one goal in 11 tries. David Hukalo, Sean O'Connor and Konstantin Shafranov scored for the Komets, and Sebastien Laplante made 34 saves. The Komets out-shot the PrairieThunder 44-37. Komets left early today

They left an hour early and are hoping that's good enough. Jake Pence and Sebastien Laplante were activated off IR and Tim Haun and Ryan Potts were placed on waivers. I heard that Brad MacMillan also was ready to go.

Roster update

Pretty much the same lineup tonight as last weekend, except Ryan Potts is playing tonight. He was out of town last weekend on a family outing.

Brandon Warner has been played on a 45-day non-roster spot, and Olivier Legault on the 30-day injured reserve. Dominic Osman and Danko Mironovic are not expected to play tonight, but both made the road trip. Potts is taking Osman's spot on the roster, so if Osman can play Saturday or Sunday, Potts is ineligible. The Komets had to get permission from the league to sign Potts to an emergency contract, just as they did last weekend with Adam Lewis.
